Natalia Monje is a historian and journalist who has contributed to a variety of media projects, including one of Spain’s most popular TV programmes about esotericism. She specialises in occult phenomena from the 16th century to the present day, shedding light on how cases of collective fear have shaped the course of history. She has received several awards for her work, including the Álvaro Cunqueiro Award for Journalism and the Xesús Ferro Couselo prize for ethnography research. In 2019 she published the essay Bad Harvest which won the Juan Antonio Cebrián Award for History Writing.
