Mar Gómez holds a Cum Laude PhD and Degree in Physical Science from the Complutense university of Madrid, where she specialised in Physics of the Atmosphere. Currently, she is the head of the meteorology section of eltiempo.es and has contributed to a number of media outlets like National Geographic, QUO, Europa FM, Cadena SER, RNE, Onda Cero or Cadena Cope. She has also worked with several international broadcasters, including BBC, TRT World or Reuters, and local broadcasters like TVE, La 2, Telecinco, Cuatro, Telemadrid or Euskal Telebista. Among her most outstanding talks, it is worth mentioning the one she gave during the International summit on Climate, Change The Change, the United Nations summit on Climate Change (COP25), and her involvement in the United Nations program to protect the Artic.
