Julián Ruiz is one of the leading producers on the Spanish music scene. He has 14 chart number ones and has worked with many different artists. His articles have appeared in Cambio 16, Interviú, Qué and Opinión. He has also written for music magazines such as Mundo Joven, Disco Express, Popular 1, El Gran Musical and Rolling Stone. He currently writes for the El Mundo newspaper. For the last 42 years he has produced and directed the programme Plásticos y Decibelios. He joined Los Cuarenta Principales three years after the broadcaster was founded.
